Vanjangi Waterfalls

Vanjangi village is located in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, India, in the Paderu Tehsil. It is 8 kilometres from the sub-district headquarters in Paderu and 125 kilometres from the district headquarters in Visakhapatnam. Vanajangi is the traditional means of Vanjangi village, according to 2009 statistics.

With the incredible sights on offer, Vanjangi, which is 3400 feet above sea level, has become a tourist hotspot. Scenes of dense clouds floating endlessly amid the hills form a sight to behold as you approach the vantage point at the location early in the morning. The most auspicious time to visit Vanjangi is at sunrise, when an orange twilight proudly announces the arrival of the sun beyond the cloud cover. Many visitors are choosing to camp in the open spaces because the village does not yet have any tourist accommodation facilities.

Megha Samudram, or the Ocean of Clouds, is the name given to this newly discovered hill heaven. And the name seems fitting, given that tourists have never seen such an assemblage of clouds at such high altitudes, every beautiful morning. A sight not to be missed is the golden light tinting the cloud cover as it floats endlessly.

Coffee Museum

One of the places to visit in Araku Valley is the Coffee Museum. In 1930, a migrant by name Prakash Rao had set up a catering service for tourists to highlight the uniqueness of the Arabica Coffee. In 1954, he started a Coffee house, which catered to foreign delegates and coffee traders. However, it is now open to all.

The museum manned by educated tribal staff showcase a series of pictures detailing the origin and history of coffee. They market 60 varieties of coffees and an array of 600 coffee-chocolates. Visitors can satiate their hunger and appease their craving by indulging in delicacies such as chocolates, sandwiches, brownies, mousses, tarts, etc and savor stimulating coffees.

Borra Caves

Located on the east coast of India, the Borra Caves are situated in the Ananthagiri hills of the Araku Valley in Visakhapatnam district. Breath taking hilly terrain, beautiful landscape, semi-evergreen moist deciduous forests, and wild fauna of the Borra Caves are a visual feast.

A marvellous creation of nature, the Borra caves were formed when river waters flow through a limestone area, and the calcium carbonate turns into calcium bicarbonate, which is easily washed out by the running water. The most striking feature of the caves is its exquisite variety of speleothems ranging in size.

Borra Caves are deemed to be among the largest in the country and are perched at a whopping elevation of about 705 metres. They are basically karstic limestone structures extending to a depth of 80 m and are considered to be the deepest cave in India. The combination of sunlight and dark conjures amazing dancing shaped in the depths of the Borra Caves, which is a sight in itself.

It is one of the acclaimed places to visit in Araku Valley. Araku Tribal Museum is located in the small town of Araku, around 110 km of Visakhapatnam. The first floor of the red-colored rotund structure displays dioramas depicting tribal lifestyle, day-to-day kitchen utensils made of iron and mud, musical instruments, and wall paintings of market scenes and clay pottery. It exhibits local tribal dances of Mayur and Dhimsa from a range of festivals and life-sized figurines wearing vibrant clothing with matching accessories. The walls adorn the masks, and exotic artifacts belonging to the Tribal culture of Eastern Ghats. The second floor houses a souvenir shop and the Tribal Arts and Craft center. Katiki Waterfall

In its broadest sense, the term vegetable refers to any type of plant life or plant product; in its narrower connotation, it refers to the fresh, edible component of a herbaceous plant consumed raw or cooked.

A root, like rutabaga, beet, carrot, and sweet potato; a tuber or storage stem, like potato and taro; a stem, like asparagus and kohlrabi; a bud, like brussels sprouts; a bulb, like onion and garlic; a petiole or leafstalk, like celery and rhubarb; a leaf, like cabbage, lettuce, parsley, spinach, and chive; a seed, such as pea and lima bean; an immature fruit, such as eggplant, cucumber, and sweet corn (maize); or a full fruit, such as tomato and pepper. It's tough to maintain the popular difference between vegetable and fruit.

Plants or plant parts that are commonly consumed with the main course of a meal are commonly referred to as vegetables, whereas those that are mostly consumed as sweets are referred to as fruits. Cucumber and tomato, although botanically fruits, are typically recognized as vegetables because they are the section of the plant that contains seeds.
